Signs of Hail Damage to Look For
After a major hailstorm the damage isn't always obvious from the ground. Watch for dark bruised spots or missing granules on shingles, dented metal flashing, vents and eavestroughs, cracked or split shingles after wind, granules collecting in downspouts, and leaks or staining that appear weeks later.
We Help With Your Insurance Claim
Most Calgary homeowners don't pay for hail damage out of pocket — it's covered. The hard part is the paperwork. We document the damage with photos, give you a clear written assessment, and work directly with your adjuster so the claim reflects the real cost of the repair.
Our Inspection & Repair Process
We get on the roof and photograph every area of concern, give you a damage report you can submit with your claim, then repair or replace using materials rated for Alberta hail and wind — done right, the first time.
Calgary & Surrounding Areas
We serve Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, Chestermere and surrounding communities. If a storm just rolled through your neighbourhood, get on the schedule early — we book up fast after major hail events.
The First 72 Hours After a Hailstorm
Photograph everything from the ground: dented vents, torn window screens, damaged eavestroughs, hail on the lawn with something for scale. Do not climb the roof and do not sign anything on your doorstep. Storm chasers flood Calgary neighbourhoods after every major event, collect deposits and vanish. Get a documented inspection from an established local company, then call your insurer with evidence in hand. We have been in Calgary 22 years and we will still be here when your warranty needs us.
How the Insurance Timeline Works
You report the claim, your insurer assigns an adjuster, and the adjuster assesses the damage, usually within a few weeks after a big storm. Our report and photos go into that assessment. Watch your policy for depreciation: some policies pay full replacement cost, others depreciate by roof age. Once the claim is approved, we schedule the work and invoice in line with the settlement. We do not inflate claims, and adjusters know it, which is exactly why our documentation carries weight.
